Join us for an afternoon celebrating cutting-edge research from the Department of Statistics and Operations Research.
The Statistics and Operations Research Graduate Student Showcase brings together ten PhD researchers working on algorithms, optimization, healthcare operations, neuroscience, and network science. Connect with researchers and discover how mathematical theory solves real-world problems.
Two sessions:
1. Emerging Research Posters (2:30 – 3:30 PM): Five cutting-edge projects with snacks and refreshments. Perfect for casual conversation.
2. Featured Research Talks (3:30 – 4:30 PM): Five dynamic talks spanning emergency department operations, optimization, probability, analytics, and brain connectivity.
