Morehead Planetarium and Science Center Broader Impacts Open House
Morehead Planetarium and Science Center partners with UNC faculty members and researchers applying for grants to develop broader impacts projects that make the outcomes of their research available and accessible to a wide range of audiences. As granting agencies increasingly demand broad impact and the university encourages public engagement, Morehead is a convenient, high-quality partner for science outreach. With researchers providing current science and Morehead providing content and curriculum development and delivery expertise, the result can be highly engaging and effective.
We invite potential science outreach partners to visit Morehead on October 10 to meet Morehead team members, hear from past and present broader impacts partners about their experience working with Morehead, and tour our newly renovated, interactive exhibit spaces including the Breakthrough Hub gallery featuring UNC research and the Launch Lab, our new tinker space.
