The Health for Every Rural Mother and Family (HER) Lab at the UNC School of Social Work will be hosting a virtual and in person open lab.

Virtual tour will be held at 11:30am – 11:45am
In-person tour will be held at 12:30pm – 12:45pm

Please come by to meet the principal investigator, Dr. Betsy (Sarah E) Bledsoe, and other HER Lab members to learn about the research and scholarship of the HER Lab. The HER Lab is driven by a community-based participatory research partnership between stakeholders in Robeson County, NC and practitioners and researchers at UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Pembroke, UNC Greensboro, and Duke University.

Our focus is on improving maternal and family emotional health and wellbeing for rural mothers and families with a primary focus on self-identified ‘mothers’ who are pregnant or have children ages 4-years of age or younger.
