Innovate Carolina will be hosting a fireside chat tailored for you during UNC Research Week. This panel discussion will bring together representatives from the Institute for Convergent Sciences, Office of Technology Commercialization and KickStart Venture Services to share how we can collaboratively support you as you navigate the journey from research discovery to real world impact.
Panelists will discuss how you can disclose, protect and bring novel research ideas to market; foster the translation of your impactful technologies that will promote commercialization and economic development in North Carolina and beyond; and receive entrepreneurial support that will enable you to create meaningful startups based on your research. Together, these perspectives will offer a practical overview of the resources available at Carolina for researchers interested in entrepreneurship, translation, licensing, and startup formation.
