The National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health is one of UNC’s signature research projects and has provided data for more than 1,200 student thesis and dissertation projects to date. And… Add Health data are available to YOU! Add Health is also one of the largest social science and health studies in the nation; new Add Health data include survey, biological, health, functioning, and contextual measures that will appeal to a broad range of researcher interests, including for those interested in the study of health inequities.

Come listen to and interact with the Add Health Director and hear from current postdocs and students who are using the data. Add Health data literally include a treasure trove of novel measures for answering questions about health and social life in the United States. The Add Health team will discuss this incredible project, highlight current uses of the data by postdocs and students, briefly review key scientific findings that have been based on Add Health data, and highlight new Add Health data availability and how to access the data.
