This event will be a research expo style event where the Department of Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS) faculty, labs, and centers will have tables describing and providing demos of their research equipment and participant experiences. There will be several faculty pop-up research talks throughout where individual faculty describe their research. There will be a student panel describing how to get involved in research as an undergraduate. Finally, the Health Professions Advising Office will give a talk on how to use research experiences in applications for allied health professional schools (e.g., PT, OT). Students will complete a passport-style activity requiring they visit multiple research booths and attend one (or more) presentations to get CLE credit.
This event is open to all but will be of particular interest to EXSS students interested in learning more about research participation opportunities within EXSS.
