Caregiving is a critical public health issue affecting millions across North Carolina and beyond. Join us on October 24 for an engaging and informative session led by Erin Kent, an expert in health policy and caregiving research at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. This event will examine the unique challenges caregivers face in various health settings and share insights from a recent listening session study on caregiving for adults and individuals with disabilities. Topics will include recent policy developments, initiatives recognizing and supporting caregivers, and collaborative recommendations from the North Carolina Serious Illness Coalition and the North Carolina Caregiving Collaborative.

Designed for caregivers, health professionals, policy advocates, and community members, this free event offers essential resources and recommendations to shape the future of caregiving in our state.

This is an in-person event.
