Research Educational Entertainment Lab (R.E.E.L.)

Join the School of Data Science and Society, along with Josh Starmer from StatQuest, for the Research Educational Entertainment Lab (R.E.E.L.) video contest showcase. In this contest, students and postdoctoral fellows are invited to create a video that highlights scientific research and demonstrates their ability to break down complex ideas into accessible and engaging content. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills and share their research (or an interesting topic) with a broader audience. The live event will feature screenings of the top three videos selected by the judges, along with a panel discussion featuring the judges and the top three participants. There will also be prize giveaways and an audience vote to determine the first-place winner.
