We will host 5 synchronous sessions throughout the week, each with representatives from 3-5 different labs from across campus. After short (~5 min) presentation from each lab, you’ll have the opportunity to pick a few labs to join in a breakout room so you can ask questions and introduce yourself! We have a great line-up this year with presentations from Undergrads, Post-Bac Trainees, graduate students, and faculty scheduled to present. In addition to labs in the Psych & Neuro department, we have labs from the School of Ed, Center for the Study of Retired Athletes, Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, and several departments in the Med School (Psychiatry, Center for Alcohol Studies, Health Sciences, Genetics).
Additionally, we are partnering with Psi Chi Psychology Honors Society, the Carolina Neuroscience Club, and the P&N DEI Pathways Task Force- Research Apprenticeships Subcommittee, each of whom will be hosting a session, so you can ask more about these organizations during the Breakout Rooms as well!
