The Hussman School of Journalism and Media is hosting the first annual Converge-Con, a festival that explores the rapid convergence of human skills with artificial intelligence. This is not an academic conference. It is an open, interdisciplinary gathering of people at the forefront of AI use in the media –industry leaders, scholars, artists, content creators, authors, et al — people with first-hand experience of the cutting edge and thoughts on which way the blade is facing.
This interdisciplinary initiative represents a unique opportunity for cross-departmental collaboration and knowledge exchange.
This festival takes place at multiple locations around campus over various days and times, please refer to the official Converge-Con website for the complete schedule.
Converge-Con is for all: UNC staff, researchers, students, faculty and professionals.
