Event Type

Enter the world of innovation—if you dare—with our Applied Physical Science Spooky Science Lab Tours!

This event invites undergraduates, and everyone interested, to step inside engineering research labs and see firsthand where today’s ideas transform into tomorrow’s technology. From hauntingly shape-shifting materials and electrifying devices in the brain to biomaterials with almost supernatural properties, each tour stop reveals the cutting-edge projects that APS graduate students, faculty and their research teams are bringing to life. Along the way, you’ll meet researchers, hear about pathways into graduate school, and discover how your own future in engineering could take shape. Join us for an event where spooky fun meets serious innovation—because in these labs, the only scary thing is missing your chance to explore!

Meet at the table in front of Lenoir, then we will bring students to tour labs in Murray, Kenan and Chapman.

This is an in-person, CLE credit event.
