Applied Mathematics Labs Tour
Tours of the world class laboratories available in the Department of Mathematics. Live demonstrations of a range of striking fluid experiments will be performed in the Physical Mathematics Lab from 10-11am (Chapman Hall 311), and in the Joint Fluids Lab from 11am-12pm (Chapman Hall B02).
Experimental demonstrations will range from walking droplets that mimic the behavior of quantum particles to wave generation in the NSF ONR 120 foot wave tank and self-aggregation of particles that play a key role in marine science.
