
The 7th Annual North Carolina Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology Symposium brings together clinicians, researchers, advocates, and community partners committed to advancing cancer care for adolescents and young adults. This year’s theme emphasizes the vital role of community oncology outreach and engagement, with a focus on building meaningful connections between academic institutions and community-based providers.
Designed to inspire collaboration and innovation, the symposium will feature presentations, expert-led panels, and lived experience narratives addressing key challenges and opportunities across the AYA cancer care continuum.

- AYA 101 Workshop (7:45 AM – 8:30 AM): An optional session offering an overview of mental health, fertility, financial, social, and medical considerations unique to AYA patients.
- Happy Hour (4:45 PM – 5:30 PM): An optional informal gathering immediately following the symposium, designed to foster community-building and networking.
