Join us for an inspiring panel of women in STEM as they share their personal journeys transitioning from college to the workforce. Hear firsthand about their experiences with internships, first jobs, and overcoming imposter syndrome, while navigating the shift from academic life to applying science in real-world settings.

Too often, we become overwhelmed with the quizzes, midterms, and final exams that we forget that science in the real world looks completely different. In some ways, your first job out of college is all about going back to the basics, but in other ways, it will challenge you to rethink everything you thought you knew from college.

This panel is an invaluable opportunity for students and young professionals to gain insights, advice, and motivation from trailblazers who have successfully made the leap from the classroom to impactful careers in STEM. Don’t miss the chance to learn, network, and be inspired!

This event is hosted by the Association for Women in Science – North Carolina chapter, and will be moderated by Aynsley Szczesniak, the AWIS NC Student STEM Programs Chair. We can’t wait to see you there!
