DESCRIPTION:North Carolina’s County Distress Rankings System (Tiers Syste
 m) guides many economic development policy and funding decisions\, but how
  well does the current design and application serve communities across the
  state?\n\nJoin this session at the Working Group on Economic Development 
 as researchers from NCGrowth and the ncIMPACT Initiative present findings 
 from a recent review of the system and share stakeholder insights into how
  more effective measures might be designed. The project was funded by the 
 North Carolina Collaboratory.\n
