DESCRIPTION:Use UNC's Research Data Center to analyze local demographic mic
 ro data\, such as looking at post-hurricane migration patterns.\n\nThe Tri
 angle Research Data Center (TRDC) is part of an expanding network of Resea
 rch Data Centers located around the U.S.\n\nThe TRDC has two branches avai
 lable for researchers:\n	\n	One branch is located at the Carolina Populati
 on Center (CPC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill\n\n	The
  second branch is located in the Social Science Research Institute at Duke
  University.\n\n\nThe TRDC is part of the Federal Statistical Research Dat
 a Center (FSRDC) program. Under this program\, the Census Bureau and other
  agencies allows researchers with approved proposals to perform statistica
 l analysis on non-public microdata from a variety of statistical agencies 
 to address important research questions.\n\nThese datasets are among the l
 argest and most important sources of statistical information in the US and
  many of them can only be accessed through a FSRDC.\n\nThis is a hybrid ev
 ent\, a zoom link will be provided later.
