DESCRIPTION:Join us during UNC Research Week to explore research opportunit
 ies at the intersection of climate\, health\, and extreme weather.The Offi
 ce of Research Development is tracking a recent emphasis at NIH on the rel
 ationship between health and climate\, following the release of a Health a
 nd Extreme Weather highlighted topic\, another on time-sensitive research 
 projects on environmental health\, and an NIH-NSF Research Award Program p
 artnership. \n\nHear from NIEHS program staff\, learn about innovative res
 earch taking place across campus\, and connect with collaborators for futu
 re research opportunities.\n\nHosted by the Office of Research Development
  (ORD) and the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraC
 S) Institute at UNC\, this networking event will bring together researcher
 s interested in advancing projects at the intersection of climate\, health
 \, and extreme weather.\n\nHighlights include:\nNIEHS program staff involv
 ed in developing the various newly announced initiatives will be present t
 o share the latest updates and meet with faculty one-on-one\n\nFaculty lig
 htning talks will showcase UNC expertise\, ongoing projects\, and emerging
  research directions to build new collaborations\n\nNetworking opportuniti
 es will build interdisciplinary connections and explore potential collabor
