SUMMARY:Research Insights from the UNC School of Ed’s undergrad scholars 
 &#038\; mentors
DESCRIPTION:This event will feature a panel of recent UNC School of Educati
 on undergraduates — from the Human and Organizational Leadership Develop
 ment (HOLD) and Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) programs — d
 iscussing their undergraduate research experiences and the value of those 
 experiences to their post-graduate success.\n\nThis is an in-person event.
  CLE credit is available for students.\n\nThe HOLD program prepares gradua
 tes to understand\, lead\, and work effectively with diverse stakeholders 
 across and within organizations. The curriculum provides students with a g
 rounding in the science of leadership development\, organizational and lea
 dership theory\, quantitative and qualitative social science research meth
 ods\, and data-informed decision making. Students will gain insight into v
 arious organizations\, including school districts\, businesses\, non-profi
 ts\, and government agencies committed to cultivating clients’ and worke
 rs’ capacities. HOLD graduates will be skilled collaborators and communi
 cators\, keen observers of social structure and dynamics\, and careful dat
 a consumers and analysts.\n\nLearn more about HOLD\n\n\n\nHDFS is a pre-pr
 ofessional major for undergraduate students who feel driven to improve the
  lives of individuals\, families\, and communities. Students will gain a d
 eep understanding of diverse contexts and relationships that influence hum
 an growth and development across the life-span. We are committed to promot

 ces\, research\, and service. Through HDFS\, you can graduate with a uniqu
