DESCRIPTION:When Marley Parker graduated from the UNC Hussman School of Jou
 rnalism and Media in 2010\, she had no idea her career would involve docum
 enting scientific endeavors in some of the most remote places on the plane
 t. \n\nAfter spending five years honing her science communication skills a
 t UNC Research\, Marley started her own freelance business in 2018. These 
 days\, she specializes in producing compelling stories about research expe
 dition teams – typically in the middle of the ocean. \n\nLearn how Marle
 y got her start at UNC\, and then forged a unique career path that has tak
 en her to the South Pacific\, the Antarctic Peninsula\, the North Atlantic
