 r and School of Government\n\n \n\n\n\nRic Colacito\, Professor of Finance
 \, Sarah Graham Kenan Scholar\, and Faculty Director of the Center for Exc
 ellence in Investment Management\, Kenan-Flagler Business School\n\nRiccar
 do (Ric) Colacito’s research interests are in the areas of international
  finance\, financial econometrics\, model uncertainty\, experimental econo
 mics\, and climate change. His research has been published in top peer-rev
 iewed journals\, including the American Economic Review\, Journal of Polit
 ical Economy and Journal of Finance. He has been featured on several news 
 outlets\, including CNN\, CBS and The Wall Street Journal. He has received
  several teaching awards\, such as the Weatherspoon Award for Excellence i
 n PhD Teaching and the MBA teaching All Star award.\n\nDonald Hornstein\, 
 Aubrey L. Brooks Professor of Law\, UNC School of Law\n\nDon Hornstein joi
 ned the Carolina Law faculty in 1989 and is also a member of the Universit
 y’s Institute for the Environment and the Environment\, Ecology and Ener
 gy Program in the College of Arts and Sciences. His teaching and research 
 interests include administrative law\, insurance law\, the law of regulati
 on and regulatory compliance\, environmental law\, and appellate advocacy.
  He was the recipient of a Fulbright Award for research and teaching in Ea
 st Africa. In 2019\, he was selected by the University of North Carolina a
 s the sole professor to be awarded that year’s Board of Governors Award 
 for Excellence in Teaching. He had previously been awarded three other Uni
 versity-wide teaching prizes and\, at the Law School\, has won the McCall 
 Award for Teaching Excellence a record eight times.\n\nSiddhartha Roy\, En
 vironmental Engineer and Research Associate\, UNC Water Institute\n\nSiddh
 artha Roy conducts research in the areas of drinking water\, public health
 \, citizen science\, international development\, and environmental justice
  in the United States and West Africa. Roy co-led the Virginia Tech team
 ’s scientific and humanitarian relief work\, along with residents of Fli
 nt\, Michigan\, that helped uncover the Flint Water Crisis. His work has w
 on prizes and recognition from the American Association for the Advancemen
 t of Science\, the American Civil Liberties Union\, the American Society o
 f Civil Engineers\, the American Water Works Association\, The Boston Glob
 e/STAT News\, the International Water Association\, and the Obama Foundati
 on.\n\nPanel Emcee\nErin Riggs\, Environmental Finance Center Executive Di
 rector\n\nErin Riggs is the Executive Director of the Environmental Financ
 e Center and conducts applied research surrounding legal\, policy\, and ac
 counting framework that influences environmental finance issues around the
  country. She graduated from the University of Florida’s Levin College o
 f Law where she pursued a law degree with a specialization in Environmenta
 l and Land Use issues. She spent her third year of law school as a visitin
 g student at UNC’s School of Law\, where she worked as a legal intern wi
 th the Environmental Finance Center on sustainability issues in both North
  Carolina and Georgia. After law school\, Erin worked as the Assistant Exe
 cutive Director of Waterkeepers Carolina\, a statewide organization repres
 enting the interests of the Riverkeepers across the state. She then spent 
 three years working in Florida as a staff attorney for state court judges 
 in the areas of both criminal and family law.\n
