 lists\n\nModerator: Nathan Blouin\, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research
  Development\, Office of Research Development\nNathan leads a team of high
 ly motivated research development specialists\, enhancing UNC Chapel Hill'
 s ability to secure extra-mural grant funding from federal\, state\, and f
 oundation sponsors. He works with multi- and interdisciplinary faculty tea
 ms pursing innovative research ideas at the frontiers of human scientific 
 knowledge\, bringing a tier-one research university to it's highest levels
  of scholarship and investigation.\n\n\n\nGanga Bey\, Assistant Professor 
 of Epidemiology\nGanga Bey is an assistant professor of epidemiology withi
 n the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a fellow at the Caro
 lina Population Center. Her career at UNC-Chapel Hill began in 2019 as a p
 ostdoctoral researcher through the Carolina Postdoctoral Program for Facul
 ty Diversity. Her NIH-funded research focuses on identifying and interveni
 ng on the social causes of health outcome differences between marginalized
  and dominant status groups in the U.S.  \n\n\n\nLindsey James\, Assistant
  Professor of Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry\; Direc
 tor of Chemical Biology\, the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and 
 Drug Discovery\nLindsey James is an assistant professor in the Division of
  Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry within the UNC Eshelman School o
 f Pharmacy. She is also the director of chemical biology within the Center
  for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery\, where she collabora
 tes closely with Carolina faculty from various departments. She obtained a
  B.A. in chemistry from Colgate University and a PhD in organic chemistry 
 from UNC-Chapel Hill. She was a postdoctoral fellow in the Eshelman School
  of Pharmacy and joined the faculty at Carolina as a research assistant pr
 ofessor in 2013 and then as a tenure-track assistant professor in 2019.   
 \n\n\n\n\nIsaac Unah\, Professor of Political Science\nIsaac Unah is a pro
 fessor of political science and has been a faculty member at Carolina for 
 29 years. He has served as program director for Law and Science at the Nat
 ional Science Foundation. At UNC-Chapel Hill\, he is the former director o
 f the Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program and chair of the Spe
 cial Talent Advisory Committee for Undergraduate Admissions. He is a recen
 t winner of The Chapman Family Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teach
 ing and a 2024 recipient of the Townsend Program for Education Research Fe
 llowship.  \n\n\n\n\nWei You\, Professor of Chemistry and Applied Physical
  Sciences\nWei You is a professor in the Department of Chemistry within th
 e UNC College of Arts and Sciences. He received his PhD in chemistry from 
 the University of Chicago in 2004. After two years of postdoctoral trainin
 g at Stanford University\, he joined Carolina’s chemistry department as 
 an assistant professor in 2006\, became full professor in 2017\, and serve
 d as chair from 2020 to 2024. He has published over 200 papers in his 18 y
 ears of tenure at UNC-Chapel Hill and has served the research community in
  multiple ways.
