DESCRIPTION:Join the newest faculty members of the Carolina Sociology Depar
 tment as they share their ongoing research. \n\nThis undergraduate-focused
  research panel examines the complex interplay between housing policies\, 
 wealth accumulation\, and racial disparities in the United States. Profess
 or Elizabeth Korver-Glenn will present her findings on the persistent raci
 al segregation and inequality in U.S. public housing\, highlighting how th
 ese issues continue to shape our neighborhoods. Professor Lauren Valentino
  will share research on facts and myths about the racial wealth gap\, prop
 osing potential interventions to address these systemic issues. \n\nPizza
