SUMMARY:[Rescheduled] From Keywords to Conclusions: AI’s Role in Literatu
 re Reviews
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the third installment in the UNC School of Medicine
AI in Research webinar series\, where we explore AI's role in literature
reviews. \n\nAs AI tools rapidly evolve\, so do their potential applicatio
ns in the research process. Join Beth Moreton and Luke Barron from the Hea
lth Sciences Library as they provide an overview of ethical considerations
and practical caveats when using AI in academic research. We'll share fin
dings from the Health Sciences Library’s recent evaluation of generative
AI tools like Elicit\, Consensus\, and Undermind\, using a structured rub
ric to assess their performance. We’ll also include a look at tools for
data analysis and visualization\, like Julius.ai and Proquest TDM\, and ex
plore how predictive and generative AI are being applied to systematic rev
iews. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how AI can s
upport research responsibly and ways the library can support AI experiment
 ation.
