 unity Partnerships in AYA Oncology: Challenges and Opportunities”
DESCRIPTION:The 7th Annual North Carolina Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) 
 Oncology Symposium brings together clinicians\, researchers\, advocates\, 
 and community partners committed to advancing cancer care for adolescents 
 and young adults. This year's theme emphasizes the vital role of community
  oncology outreach and engagement\, with a focus on building meaningful co
 nnections between academic institutions and community-based providers.\n\n
 Designed to inspire collaboration and innovation\, the symposium will feat
 ure presentations\, expert-led panels\, and lived experience narratives ad
 dressing key challenges and opportunities across the AYA cancer care conti
 nuum.\n\nScreening and Diagnostic Challenges & Opportunities\nTreatment Ch
 allenges & Opportunities\nSurvivorship Challenges & Opportunities\n\nAtten
 dees will also engage in interactive breakout sessions that encourage deep
 er discussion and hands-on problem-solving\, including strategies and reso
 urces for effective outreach.\n\nAdditional learning and networking opport
 unities include:\n\nAYA 101 Workshop (7:45 AM – 8:30 AM): An optional se
 ssion offering an overview of mental health\, fertility\, financial\, soci
 al\, and medical considerations unique to AYA patients.\nHappy Hour (4:45 
 PM – 5:30 PM): An optional informal gathering immediately following the 
 symposium\, designed to foster community-building and networking.\n\n\nReg
